Than Deesamer

I had the opportunity to intern at Vaslab Architecture for a period of six months. During this internship, I gained diverse experiences across various aspects of architectural work from participating in the design process of buildings and structures, including projects like spirit houses and Brahma shrines, to learning architectural drafting techniques. I was also given the chance to join site visits with experienced architects, allowing me to observe and understand on site details that cannot be fully grasped in a classroom setting. In addition, I was involved in several stages of the design process, including creating 3D models, preparing presentations, and rendering images to communicate design concepts. This internship helped me gain a deeper understanding of the architectural profession, improved my sense of responsibility, and enhanced the practical skills necessary for my future career.

I had the opportunity to gain new experience in the creative advertising industry, where I learned how to approach briefs and view problems from different perspectives, while still focusing on meeting the client's needs just like in architectural design. I developed skills in research and analysis, creative thinking, and collaborated with an Art Director. I was also involved in designing visual layouts for media content used by clients on social media platforms. This experience broadened my perspective on creative problem-solving and gave me valuable insights that I can apply not only in design but also in everyday life. The internship lasted for two months.
