It was a true American dream story that started in 2001, when a young lady (Nakamol) came to Chicago from a small rural town in southern Thailand, Trang. Nakamol traveled abroad to Chicago to pursue a Master’s Degree.
Being on a limited income Nakamol used her love of fashion and started creating jewelry for friends and family.
With a great response, she then walked door-to-door to boutiques around Chicago selling it, and it quickly became more significant than what she could handle on her own. When it came time to expand, she made it a priority to hire less fortunate people and provide them with a way to maintain dignity and respect within her home community.
Nakamol is a true family business as it still currently employs many friends and family who have worked there since its inception.

Nakamol Jewelry supports over underprivileged families in Thailand by providing a better work environment, jobs, education, and resources. This allows our staff to keep the family unit whole.
