A New Color | Hair Salon
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for fast-paced, high-volume content creation for social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a one-person content machine able to think, shoot, edit, and deliver
complete content independently. You must be highly efficient, trend-aware, and capable of producing at least 3 content pieces per/day while maintaining quality and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate creative content ideas quickly and independently
- Produce short-form video and photo content from concept to final edit
- Film and edit content on-site at the hair salon with fast turnaround time
- Deliver a minimum of 3 content pieces per day consistently
- Edit videos efficiently with strong pacing, transitions, and trend-based styles
- Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, and platform algorithms
- Collaborate with hairstylists and team members to capture real-time moments and transformations
- Ensure content is optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
- Edit short-form videos efficiently with fast turnaround while maintaining clear and engaging storytelling.
- Simplify complex ideas into engaging, easy-to-understand content
- Interested in fashion.
Qualifications:
- Must-have
- Proven experience in fast-paced content creation
- Strong ability to shoot and edit videos independently
- Excellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Deep understanding of short-form content trends and social media formats
- Strong proficiency in CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro Nice-to-have
- Experience in beauty, fashion, or hair salon content
- Ability to structure content and communicate key messages clearly
- Ability to work efficiently on-site and adapt to real-time situations
- Portfolio showing high-volume, short-form content production
- Skill in writing concise on-screen text or captions
