Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is the award-winning owner and operator of some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences. Major Responsibilities

  • To make daily sales calls in line with specific targets established by the DOSM to local corporate offices with a view of increasing business from existing accounts and developing business from new accounts.
  • To be responsible for the sales and marketing of the hotel and its facilities including accommodation and group related to banqueting and restaurants.
  • To be responsible for Wedding, Conference and Meeting Business for the hotel, from proposal and planning stages through to execution of meeting event.
  • To sell the hotel in line with the hotel’s sales strategy to exceed the yearly budget expectation in the market segment.
  • To prepare meeting proposals from all sources except those that originate from existing corporate accounts, from regions specifically assigned to other members of the sales team, or special meeting groups that may on occasion be assigned to another manager. 
  • To follow-up all proposals and convert requests into confirmed business to achieve budget expectations for this Market Segment.
  • To handle the operations and execution of all conferences and meetings handled by other sales staff once these have been confirmed.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English and Thai.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years work experience in Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Proficiency in English and in Computer skills.
  • Possess good leadership skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
