Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Layout Designer and Printing Specialist to join our team in the Event and Retail industry. This role involves preparing and adapting layouts based on Visual Guidelines provided by various brands. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling print production using inkjet printers, laser printers, and CNC machines. While the primary responsibility is working with provided guidelines, there may be opportunities to create custom layouts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and adapt Visual Guidelines provided by brands to create accurate and visually appealing layouts for event and retail environments.
• Occasionally create custom layouts as required, ensuring they align with brand identity and project requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to refine layouts and ensure they meet both aesthetic and functional standards.
• Prepare print-ready files optimized for inkjet printers, laser printers, and CNC machines.
• Manage the printing process, ensuring that all output meets the specified quality standards.
• Operate and maintain printing equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.
• Perform color proofing to ensure that the colors in the printed materials accurately reflect the design intent and brand guidelines.
• Make necessary adjustments to color settings and profiles to achieve the desired results for color proofing. 
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Conduct quality checks on printed and CNC-produced materials, ensuring consistency in color, accuracy of cuts, and overall finish.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Fresh Graduation are welcome
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in layout design and printing, particularly in the Event or Retail industry will be a plus point
  • Experience with inkjet and laser printers, as well as CNC machines.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines, typography, and layout design.
  • Technical knowledge of print production processes, including color management and material selection.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Visual Guidelines for retail and event setups.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printing and CNC equipment.
