Key Responsibilities:
- Design handbags, small leather goods, and fashion accessories from concept to final product.
- Research global fashion trends, materials, colors, silhouettes, and consumer insights.
- Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings.
- Develop product specifications, including materials, colors, hardware, trims, and finishing details.
- Collaborate with Product Development and manufacturers throughout the sampling and production process.
- Review prototypes and provide design improvements to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with business objectives and brand direction.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities for new product development.
- Maintain awareness of emerging fashion trends, consumer behavior, and industry innovations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experienceΒ as a Fashion Designer or Product Designer within the fashion industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing fashion products, handbags, leather goods, or accessories.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent sense of color, proportion, detailing, and product aesthetics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance creativity and commercial viability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
