Job Descriptions
- Research and Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, materials, and technologies in the bag and accessories industry.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences and competitor offerings.
- Conceptualization and Design:
- Generate creative and innovative ideas for product designs.
- Develop sketches, mood boards, and design concepts to communicate ideas effectively.
- Consider functionality, aesthetics, and market demands while creating designs.
- Material Selection:
- Source and select appropriate materials for each design, considering factors such as fabrics and trims.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality materials.
- Technical Drawings and Specifications:
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturers to follow during the production process.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards.
- Prototype Development:
- Collaborate with sample makers or manufacturers to create prototypes of designs.
- Evaluate and make necessary adjustments to prototypes, considering practicality and user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of materials (fabric, style, and color), production processes, and manufacturing techniques.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong creative and artistic abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
