Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new fashion concepts and product ideas based on the brand direction and seasonal collection briefs
- Research silhouettes, details, fabrics, trims, colors, construction, and relevant fashion references
- Create sketches and develop new product designs
- Prepare technical drawings and tech packs for sampling and production
- Source and recommend suitable fabrics, trims, buttons, colors, and finishing details
- Review samples and provide clear comments on fit, proportion, construction, and finishing
Qualifications:
- Has a strong appreciation for minimal, classic, and timeless womenswear with thoughtful details
- Has experience in womenswear fashion design
- Has a strong understanding of garment construction, fabric, fit, and proportion
- Can create clear technical drawings and tech packs
- Has a refined visual eye and strong attention to detail
- Understands how to elevate simple designs through proportion, fabric, construction, and subtle design details
- Is comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
- Has experience working with factories or sample development — preferred
Work Style:
This is a part-time / project-based role, with working days and scope depending on the collection calendar.
Some work can be completed remotely, with in-person meetings required for fittings, fabric selection, sample reviews, and key development stages.
