DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for Thai speakers to join us in a new image annotation project. The purpose of this project is to improve a machine-learning system that aims to convert images of text into machine-encoded text.

  • Work Location: Remote, work from home
  • Work Schedule: Flexible
  • Engagement Model: Freelance / Independent Contractor
  • Project Duration: 1 – 3 months
  • Preferred Availability: At least 20 hours per week

Role Summary:

As an Image Annotator, you will be given access to a web tool in which you will be provided with images of text in Thai. Your tasks will be to:

  • Draw very precise boxes around words
  • Write down the text you see in the images

Job Requirements

  • Idiomatic fluency in Thai
  • Great attention to detail and typing skills
  • Basic level of English
  • Over 18 years old
  • Ability to work independently
  • Availability to start immediately
  • Have a computer and reliable Internet connection
  • Ability to create objective descriptions
  • You will need to be online during regular office hours for the first three days of training
