Are you an aspiring Interior Designer with a passion for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)? Interior Designer – FF&E Specialist
Responsibilities:
- FF&E Expertise: Leverage your specialized knowledge to assist in selecting, sourcing, and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment that enhance the overall design concept.
- Materials Specification: Collaborate with the design team to specify materials and finishes, including both hard and soft elements, ensuring their alignment with the project vision.
- Documentation Package: Assist in compiling comprehensive documentation packages, including accurate and detailed material schedules and FF&E specifications.
- Technical Precision: Pay meticulous attention to detail when documenting materials, finishes, and FF&E selections, leaving no room for ambiguity.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with senior designers, architects, and other team members to integrate FF&E elements seamlessly into the design process.
- Material Research: Stay updated on the latest materials, finishes, and FF&E trends, and contribute innovative ideas that elevate design concepts.
- Quality Control: Review and verify FF&E specifications for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong foundation in interior design concepts, materials, and finishes, with a focus on FF&E.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for precision in documenting materials, finishes, and FF&E selections.
- Collaborative Mindset: A team player who thrives in a collaborative design environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear communication skills to effectively work with the design team and present FF&E ideas.
- Passion for Learning: An eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge.
