- Research design trends, gemstones, and materials to keep collections innovative and commercially appealing
- Collaborate with production teams and gem suppliers to prototype, test, and refine new ideas — advancing craftsmanship while maintaining production feasibility
- Communicate directly with factories and suppliers — reviewing samples, providing clear technical feedback, and ensuring designs are executed to standard
- Bring curiosity and creative problem-solving to R&D, exploring new techniques, materials, and construction methods
- Maintain accurate design documentation including spec sheets and technical files for all collections
- Ensure designs align with brand identity and seasonal collection themes
- Work closely with marketing on product launches and collection storytelling
Qualifications:
- Degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in jewelry design, preferably in fine jewelry or luxury brands — candidates with 3–5 years and strong expertise in bridal and fine jewelry will be given special consideration

- Proficiency in CAD software (MatrixGold, Rhino, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Solid knowledge of gemstones, metals, and manufacturing techniques
- Comfortable working independently and building processes from the ground up
