Job Description

Faidee was founded in the early 1900s by Roop Chand Lunia. As a gemstone dealer, he was known for his collection of rare and exceptional stones. His expertise made him, incontrovertibly, one of the most dynamic gemstone dealers of his time, earning him the title of ‘King of the Burmese Ruby.’

Faidee is now a world-renowned jewelry company that creates one-of-a-kind pieces using the world’s rarest gemstone, the Burmese ruby. The company has an in-house team of artisans who work on fashioning rough into finished pieces, and designing and manufacturing jewelry.

We are looking for a talented and creative jewelry designer with a background in jewelry design to join Faidee. We are open to someone looking to take the next step in their career and someone who has a flair for creative designs that stand the test of time.

Responsibilities

  • Design and explain new concepts
  • Design a variety of ideas based on a design direction
  • Design using creative motifs in the design
  • Complete 3D models on CAD/CAM software, as needed (not essential)

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of jewelry design experience
  • Completed a jewelry design course
  • Proficient experience with CAD/CAM software (not essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills to come up with innovative ideas for design solutions
