Job Description

The Manor LDN is a new Dance Studio opening in Canary Wharf, London. 

We are looking for a dynamic junior interior designer who will help us refine our initial design process and complete the vision with a great attention to detail. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Refining the original design brief and adding all important details, bringing additional options for design, colours, materials, etc. 
  • Ability to research and source materials quickly and within budget
  • Sourcing materials and samples as required and calculating quantities as required 
  • Creating A2 Sample Moodboards for approval 
  • Collating and Organising all Supplies coming in
  • Ability to create design layouts–we do have an in-house 3D Renderer, but if you have those skills that would be great to boot. 
  • Be able to complete admin tasks as required for design submission approvals

Position is for 3 months, Salary depending on Experience. 

The right candidate will be: 

  • Based in the London area or within commute distance
  • Have minimum 2 years experience in interior design 
  • Have qualifications in interior design 
  • Fluent English Speaker 
  • A fan of Modern British Heritage, Neoclassical interiors with a dramatic flair–You will really have your imprint on this design, so really great to see what ideas you can bring 
  • Extremely detail-oriented, as every detail to a room will need to be considered and solved (such as fire alarms fire sprinklers, wires, etc.) 
  • Very proactive and can work at a fast pace. 
  • Ability to draft in software of choice proposed layouts 
  • 3D Rendering skills a plus but not 100% required. 

The job will be mostly remote, with occasional site visits and visits to decor showrooms and suppliers as required.
