Tri Star | Manufacturing of product displays and signage for luxury brands
Overview:
Tri-Star Design and Build is looking for a detail-oriented Layout Designer to support our event, retail, and brand activation projects. This role focuses on preparing accurate production layouts and ensuring all artwork files are print-ready, including proper color adjustment and proofing to meet brand standards.
You will work closely with the Design, Project Management, and Production teams to translate design concepts into precise, production-ready outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare print-ready layouts for event and retail applications (backdrops, lightboxes, wall graphics, stickers, signages, etc.)
- Adapt and apply brand guidelines across various formats and sizes
- Convert design visuals into production-ready artwork files
- Ensure correct scaling, dimensions, bleed, and technical specifications
- Perform color grading and artwork adjustment to match brand requirements and material output
- Handle color proofing process and fine-tune files before production
- Work closely with printing and production team to ensure accurate color output across different materials.
- Revise layouts based on client feedback, test prints, and site conditions
- Maintain organized file structure and version control
Requirements:
- Proficient in both Adobe Illustrator , Photoshop
- Strong understanding of layout, alignment, and technical artwork
- Must have knowledge of color grading and color correction for print production
- Understanding of CMYK, RGB, Pantone, and color profiles
- Experience in color proofing and print output adjustment
- Knowledge of printing processes and materials
- High attention to detail, especially in measurement and color accuracy
- Able to work under tight timelines
Good to Have:
- Experience in event, exhibition, or retail projects
- Familiarity with large-format printing workflow
- Basic knowledge of technical drawings / SketchUp
- Experience working with brand-sensitive clients (cosmetics, luxury, etc.)
Scope of Role:
- Focus on layout adaptation, technical artwork, and color accuracy
- Not primarily responsible for creative concept design from scratch
- May support minor design adjustments when required
