Castlery is looking for a Lead, Visual Merchandizing to join our Creative Team.

As the Visual Merchandizing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing global visual merchandizing strategies that align with Castlery’s overall brand objectives and marketing goals. You will play a crucial role in creating a consistent and compelling visual identity across multiple markets and regions. This position requires cross-cultural adaptability, market sensitivity, and a strong understanding of diverse cultures to cater to customers from different backgrounds while maintaining brand consistency.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute global visual merchandizing strategies that align with the company’s overall brand objectives and marketing goals.
  • Conceptualizing attention-grabbing installations that captivate and engage audiences for seasonal product launches.
  • Ensure consistent visual identity across diverse markets, respecting cultural differences.
  • Establish and maintain global visual standards and guidelines for brand cohesion.
  • Provide training and directives for regional VM teams to follow best practices.
  • Stay updated on furniture, décor, and retail trends to incorporate into displays.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments and external partners.
  • Manage visual merchandizing budget efficiently for multiple regions.
  • Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess and improve execution.
  • Utilize graphic design and CAD software for effective display planning.
  • Cultivate organizational, data analytics, language, and leadership skills for successful implementation.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Visual Merchandizing, Marketing, or Design.
  • At least 6 years of global visual merchandizing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture design, interior décor, and retail merchandizing trends.
  • Excellent cross-cultural adaptability and market sensitivity.
  • Proven strategic planning and execution skills in visual merchandizing.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandizing principles, including knowledge of product placement, store layout, signage, lighting, and other factors that influence the visual presentation of products.
  • Strong project management skills to plan and execute visual merchandizing projects on a global scale.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) and CAD software (AutoCAD or SketchUp).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analytics tools (PowerBI).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
