Vero is a regional PR, social, and digital agency for clients across the ASEAN region. We are seeking a high potential Media Planning Manager to join our team in Bangkok for collaborate with clients and team members across the ASEAN region. The successful candidate will work with the team focused on Media Planning, on both creative online campaigns, website analytics, lead generation, report and analysis, and coordination with other key markets as part of the client’s regional hub, based in Bangkok.

The ideal candidate should be an agency professional with experience in Ads Media planning, and client service to drive and manage brand communication assignments at the highest industry standards.

Key responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with clients and the account team to understand the client’s business objectives and advertising strategy
• Work on several projects simultaneously, often for several different clients
• Effectively communicate with the creative agency team, clients and consumers to develop media strategies and campaigns
• Execute decisions on the best form of media for specific clients and campaigns
• Undertake research and analyze data using specialist industry resources
• Identify target audiences and analyze their characteristics, behavior and media habits
• Present proposals, including cost schedules, to clients in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain good contacts with media owners, such as newspapers, magazines, and websites
• Full understanding of digital analytics with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
• Create campaigns across Google Ads and Facebook. Experience across Display platforms a plus!
• Manage and optimize campaigns effectively via tests and optimization methods (ad testing, landing page testing, keyword bidding and so on).
• Keep up to date with industry updates and communicate any changes internally.

Qualifications:

• Having experience at least 4 years in media planner or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree of Economics, Statistics, Science, Marketing or related field.
• Being an expert for Paid Social Ads and Paid Search Ads.. in terms of Planning, Optimizing, Reporting, and Analyzing.
• Passionate about learning new trends of technologies.
• Being able to use data insights to provide campaign insights.
• Knowing how to understand the real targets and create effective tactics to fulfill their insight.
• Being able to allocate and manage clients’ budgets in efficient ways.
• Knowing how to communicate and manage clients. More importantly, “Ready to learn & work together”.
• Creative, entrepreneurial, curious, flexible, and highly motivated.
• Broad knowledge of media channels.
• Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Travel and Place of Work:

Your usual location for work will be the company’s office at Amarin Tower, Bangkok. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines or other locations as instructed from time to time. Additional expenses, incurred by you as a result of the Company directing that you work from a location other than your usual location, will be reimbursed by the Company. 

Standard working hours are flexible, Monday through Friday. This may vary depending on workload and client needs.

• Annual Bonus: An “enhanced 13th month” through which you will receive an annual extra sum of money equal to your salary in the preceding month plus a fraction of annual company benefits. The year-end bonus is determined by the Company and at its sole discretion. The Year-end Bonus is paid in the same paycheck in January. 
• Flexible Office: All our employees can choose where they want to work on any given day, should it be from the office, from home, from a coffee shop, or from a yacht in the Pacific Ocean. 
• Working days: from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm (including 1 hour of lunch break). This may be flexible depending on workload and client needs. 
• International Travel: As much as possible, we push our teams to travel for events/client work. On any given year (non-pandemic, that is), manager-level team members have the opportunity to visit some of our other offices, attend industry events and follow their clients if they handle regional projects. 
• Leave: Your allocated holiday time at Vero will be unlimited. We trust our people to use good judgment when given guidelines for making decisions about taking holiday and we know that our teams work better when they can rest and take a proper break from work. Our goal is that every team take an average of 15 days (minimum!) per person a year. 
• Wellness day off: 1 paid day per quarter for you to take time off, unplug, treat yourself with something nice. 
• Thought Leadership and training: We sponsor team members with training tools and resources, both internal and external and we even incentivize employees to complete classes. Details of training programs and incentives will be shared upon your onboarding. This includes training and development investments organized by the company as well as specialized programs that our executives may come across and feel is needed for their development. For example, this could be a program organized by a group such as PR WEEK, PRCA or a training program that focuses on business in general. Across the Vero group, we are seeking new and better ways to help people develop careers. 
• Health Insurance: The Company will provide Group insurance as a benefit.
• Mental Health Budget: We understand the importance of access to proper mental health support, So we provide the Counseling by the Professional Psychologist to the team since day 1 as the Verosquad.
