Job Title: Media Strategy Senior Planner/Manager

We are hiring a Strategy Manager to join Havas Riverorchid Thailand, responsible for bringing high level strategic thinking, campaign development and collaboration to the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of key campaign projects, leading and building strategic response to briefs
  • Work with internal business teams, as well as clients and agency partners
  • Deploy Havas strategic process and platform
  • Perform market research and analysis of market and industry trends
  • Help local team to plan tactical activations that will be in line with the client’s strategy 
  • Develop relevant consumer, culture, competitive and brand insights to inform the communication and channel strategy
  • Find innovative media opportunities
  • Identify additional opportunities for key clients to demonstrate Havas strategic value
  • Pro-actively share new ideas or projects that will help clients grow
  • Identify award winning opportunities
  • Help drive understanding and uptake across the agency
  • Work hand-in hand with the local team to delivery quality advertising campaigns to client 
  • Brainstorm on creative solutions for client

Experience & capabilities include:

  • 4-5 years’ experience in media/marketing and most recently in a Strategy role
  • Fluent in English
  • At least a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or an industry-related field is required
  • Advantageous to have a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives 
  • Strong, compelling storytelling skills that showcases logical and innovative storylines; able to pitch and sell ideas 
  • Strong collaboration skills – working with different client teams, agency and partner stakeholders to gain alignment around a focused strategic approach
  • Solid understanding of the media landscape to ensure strategies are implementable
  • Open-minded and flexible in thought and tactics
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills
  • Experience in a media agency is preferable
