Vibeslab | Scent Branding & Signature Scent Creator
Overview:
The Product Development Manager is responsible for translating creative ideas into finished, high-quality products that meet Vibes
Lab’s standards of craftsmanship, scent identity, and brand aesthetics. This role oversees end-to-end product creation — from concept,
formulation, and BOM development to supplier management, QC/QA, and final execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Formulation
- Formulate fragrances and scent compositions for VIBES LAB PARFUMS, ensuring alignment with brand DNA and olfactive direction.
- Work with internal creative teams to convert moodboards, briefs, and story concepts into tangible scent prototypes.
- Produce high-quality mock-ups and product samples for Sales, Marketing, and client presentations.
- BOM, Specifications & Documentation
- Create and maintain complete BOMs (Bill of Materials), detailed spec sheets, packaging specs, raw material lists, and production guides.
- Ensure all documents are accurate, supplier-ready, and updated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Supplier & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with all suppliers (packaging, raw materials, fragrance houses, printing, bottle manufacturers, etc.).
- Manage deadlines and production schedules across multi-suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and zero bottlenecks.
- Evaluate suppliers’ performance and ensure alignment with Vibes Lab’s cost, quality, and innovation expectations.
- QC/QA – Pre & Post Production
- Implement strict quality control and assurance protocols before, during, and after production.
- Approve batch samples, check colour/viscosity/scent accuracy, packaging quality, and overall product consistency.
- Lead corrective actions with suppliers when quality issues arise.
- Project Management & Execution
- Own full project timelines — from ideation to final product delivery.
- Ensure all product milestones hit deadlines: sampling, approvals, pre-production, mass production, and delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Brand teams to ensure flawless execution.
