As we prepare to expand our retail presence with the launch of our own stores, including FORMAT, SASW, SYNC, and more, we seek a dynamic Retail Manager to spearhead these efforts under the guidance of our CEO.

Role Summary
The Retail Manager will be instrumental in launching and managing our own stores, ensuring each location aligns with our brand’s standards, achieves sales targets, and delivers exceptional customer service. This role demands a mix of strategic planning, operational efficiency, team leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit to contribute significantly to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Launch & Operations: Oversee the successful launch of new stores, from layout design and inventory setup to staff hiring and training. Ensure operational excellence, adherence to budgets, and alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and motivate store teams to achieve excellence in customer service and operational standards. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Collaborate with the GROWTH team. Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by enhancing the shopping experience, addressing customer feedback, and implementing loyalty programs.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, and efficient inventory turnover.
  • Brand Alignment: Maintain the visual merchandising and store presentation standards that reflect our brand’s identity and values.
  • Market Insights: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to suggest adjustments in strategies and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record in store launches and operations.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team building, coaching, and professional development.
    • Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team towards achieving excellence in customer service and sales targets.
    • Ability to develop and execute retail strategies that align with company goals.
    • Experience in analyzing market trends and incorporating insights into business strategies.
  • Customer Focus:
    • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Experience designing and implementing customer loyalty programs.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
  • Financial Acumen:
    • Budget management skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
  • Technology Proficiency:
    • Comfort with retail management software and proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Brand Alignment:
    • Understanding of brand management and ability to ensure store presentation aligns with the company’s brand identity and values.
