Job details
- Partner with PMs during shaping to clarify problems, explore solutions, and define scope within appetite.
- Design end-to-end user experiences across buyer, seller, and internal operational flows.
- Produce user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes for validation.
- Design trust and decision-support systems that improve conversion and repeat purchase.
- Collaborate with PMs to define success metrics and evaluate outcomes.
- Balance user experience with marketplace, operational, and technical constraints.
- Contribute to and improve SASOM’s design system and design standards.
- Raise design quality across squads and mentor junior designers as the team grows.
Applicant qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI with strong ownership.
- Strong UX thinking and solid UI craft.
- Experience working closely with PMs and Engineers as equals.
- Ability to reason about trade-offs across user, business, tech, and ops.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous problem spaces.
