The RTW Development Manager plays a vital role in building the Chanel Difference and in engaging the consumer to the Brand. She or he ensures the right fashion message and personalized advice is delivered to our staff and each of our customer in all of our boutiques. And develops a team of Style Advisors from a styling perspective to achieve market leadership and reach global requirements.

 Key Responsibilities:
RTW Staff: Learning & Development on Styling

 1. Mapping

  • Identify potential Style Advisors
  • Regular mapping of team (existing, potential)
  • Evaluate the work of each Style Advisors along with Retail Team and give feedback to Fashion GM, Top Stylist, RTW Coordinator  year end
  • Define together with appropriate stakeholders Individual Development Plan based on the “Style Advisor Profile and Progress Report”
  • Regular Competition Boutique visit and benchmark Chanel standards in terms of FAs knowledge in Styling

 2. Training (audience : style advisor)

  • Support Training team during classroom modules (RTW Advanced module, Message Mode)
  • Drive Field Training (during Collection Launch and Cross Collection briefings) with a styling approach : based on existing merchandise in boutique and various collection, with specific client in mind, with a multi category approach, fashion / total look
  • Help Style Advisors to give a styling dimension to Morning briefing (during RTW moments) : Slow sellers, Objection handling, Styling based on stock, and Alteration tips
  • Grow awareness on Fashion Industry (liaison with PR): prepare a report on Fashion Trends and Environment during runways and collection arrival in boutiques, on specific initiative, clippings inspiring looks…
  • Advise on the Style Advisors Training Curriculum

 Product feedback and link with Merchandising Team

 1. Buys

  • Attend Buying Sessions in Paris (frequency TB – around 4 times/year)
  • Support Product Manager and Style Advisors by giving suggestion on multi-category approach by Boutique to ensure cohesive stories
  • Work with Style Advisor to target Merchandising planning for VIPs + Identify new potential merchandise within collection to build new segment of clientele

 2. Product Performance

  • Partner with Style Advisor/ RTW specialists to identify slow movers, collection issues and  to provide solutions from a styling point  vie + share best practice among boutiques”
  • Liaise with merchandising team or boutique management to do incentive or push money on slow movers
  • Ensure Message Mode Refresher roll out in the Boutique by the Style Advisors/ RTW specialists
  • Drive RTW initiative by Boutique and share best practices

 Clients Events and private appointment

  • To observe clients events held by Stylists and Ambassadress as part of Learning process
  • Work on developing relationship with VIPs in order to gather information which can be used during buys and event styling sessions (together with Style Advisors)
  • Guide Style Advisors and RTW FAs with Wardrobes event or previews / trunk shows, VIP appointments.

 Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Good command in English

 Work Experience 

  • Passion in Fashion & RTW
  • Proven styling skills 
  • 4 successful years of experience as Style Advisor or Fashion Advisor OR in Luxury fashion product team
  • Service – oriented 

 Functional Competencies:

 Computer Skills

  • Microsoft excel, word and power point
