Responsibilities:

• Develop high-fidelity designs for developer handover
• Create, improve and use prototypes, style guides, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
• Define, craft, and evolve design systems that provide visual consistency throughout our products and effortless scale to different form factors
• Observe user research to understand our customer needs and behaviors better and apply insight to cutting-edge design solutions
• Be a good design advocate by sharing design best practices, leading design reviews, and mentoring our growing team of designers, engineers, and product managers
• Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
• Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, icons, and websites

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software
• Understanding of mobile application, marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
• Interaction design experience, defining and evangelizing how an experience should behave based on a deep understanding of users’ needs
• Visual design skills with proficiency in typography, responsive UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense, and how these elements impact product function.
• Design system experience with an understanding of how to create reusable components that drive scale
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• UX/UI design software proficiency (Figma, InVision, Adobe XD)
• Demonstrable examples of leadership in non-product dimensions that have made the team stronger and positively impacted the work environment
• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with UX designers, project managers, developers, copywriters, and marketing team. Be open to giving and receiving constructive criticism and improving upon it.
• Experience in using a variety of designing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, or equivalents

• Expert-level Figma skills
• Motion design experience
• Familiarity with consumer banking products like credit cards
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia

About working with us

• This position is based in our Bangkok office
• We prefer to collaborate in person and don’t offer remote work
• As an international team, English language proficiency is required
