Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Production
- Edit high-quality short-form videos, Instagram Reels, TikToks, digital advertisements, and branded content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished videos with strong pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.
- Work with music, sound effects, transitions, and colour grading to elevate the final product.
- Develop creative editing approaches that align with each brand’s identity.
- Adapt video content into different formats and aspect ratios for various digital platforms.
- Motion Graphics & Visual Design
- Create and incorporate motion graphics, animated text, and graphic elements into video content.
- Design engaging typography, transitions, overlays, and visual effects.
- Have a strong understanding of layout, composition, colour, and typography.
- Translate static graphic elements into dynamic animations.
- Ensure that all graphics and visual treatments are consistent with each client’s brand guidelines.
- Bring fresh creative ideas to make videos more visually compelling.
- Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with the creative, content, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life.
- Interpret creative briefs and translate them into engaging video content.
- Contribute ideas for visual treatments, editing styles, and motion graphics.
- Manage multiple projects across different clients while meeting deadlines.
- Organise project files, assets, and editable files for efficient team collaboration.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining creative quality.
Qualifications:
- Essential Skills
- Strong video editing skills with an excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm.
- A strong graphic design eye, particularly in typography, layout, composition, and colour.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Ability to create motion graphics and animated design elements independently.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good understanding of social media content
