About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor who is strong in long-form YouTube storytelling and short-form social content. You will support a creator who shares her day-to-day life through thoughtful, visually refined stories focused on beauty, travel, lifestyle, and self-growth, with the goal of inspiring and connecting with a growing audience.
What You Will Do:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong narrative structure, emotional pacing, and visual cohesion
- Edit and create short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok, optimized for hooks, retention, and shareability
- Create intentional cut-downs from long-form content into engaging short-form clips
- Collaborate closely on creative direction, storytelling structure, and content concepts
- Bring fresh ideas for formats, transitions, pacing, and storytelling techniques
- Maintain a refined, consistent, on-brand visual aesthetic across all platforms
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience editing both long-form and short-form video content
- Strong storytelling instincts with an eye for aesthetic, mood, and rhythm
- Cinematic editing experience is a plus (color, sound design, intentional pacing)
- A creative thinker who contributes ideas, not just executes
- Deep understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok audience behavior
- Experience in lifestyle, travel, beauty, fashion, interviews, and/or self-growth content
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines
Tools & Skills :
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with captions, graphic design, and text-driven storytelling
- Basic color grading and sound polish
- Strong awareness of social trends and platform best practices
