Born in Bangkok and based in Tokyo, Lily is an illustrator, animation artist, and occasional art director. Like a crow drawn to glimmers, she collects silly, forgotten things – receipts, twigs, eggshells, packaging scraps—from the ground and from branches. Then she does what crows don’t: she sorts them into labeled drawers, builds quiet systems, and turns them into stories.
Working with colored pencil, clay, and found materials, Lily creates illustrations that are comic, eerie, and oddly precise—transforming the playful and mundane into something that gently unsettles, inviting viewers to question how the world works, even in its smallest, most overlooked corners. 👩🏻🍳🍱
Her work spans book covers, picture books, branding, animation, and information design that bridges data and feeling through unexpected visual storytelling. ✏️✨
Apart from her artist career, she explores the visual logic and vocabulary rooted in specific cultures as a design researcher at Musashino Art University.
