I’m Julia Nilsson. A newly graduated designer currently based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I specialize in spatial and product design, with a focus on elevating everyday objects and spaces. Most of my work consists of a lot of color and distinct shapes regardless of the material.

Work & Experience
As an intern at Oblure and Markus Johansson Design, I had the opportunity to contribute to various stages of the design process. Both companies are owned by Markus Johansson, and since they are small, I was involved in diverse product categories such as lighting, sofa systems, and smalleer home accessories. I sketched new ideas in both 2D and 3D formats, assisting in visualizing and further developing concepts. I supported the team by assisting with idea development and contributing to overall design decisions. Additionally, I helped prepare presentations for clients and joined factory visits for quality control, gaining valuable insights into production and ensuring high-quality standards were met.
