Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Beauty Content Calendar, ensuring coverage across all facets of the beauty industry, aligned with the brand’s editorial strategy.
- Constantly research and monitor global and local beauty trends, new product launches, brand news, and industry developments.
- Generate and write compelling articles, product reviews, trend reports, expert interviews, and other
creative content that resonates with the target readership. - Oversee and direct beauty photoshoots and video content, working closely with photographers, makeup artists, and stylists.
- Edit and proofread all beauty-related articles for grammar, style, tone, and editorial standards.
- Ensure content is credible, properly sourced, and maintains impartiality when reviewing products or services.
- Manage and provide constructive feedback to freelance writers and contributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with beauty brands, PR agencies, industry experts (e.g., makeup artists, dermatologists), and key influencers.
- Collaborate with SEO and Digital Media teams to optimize content performance and reach.
- Attend press events, product launches, and relevant marketing appointments as required.
- Utilize analytics tools to track content performance and adjust the editorial strategy accordingly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Beauty Editor, Beauty Writer, or a related editorial role in print or digital media.
- Experience in team management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- In-depth and current knowledge of global beauty products, techniques, and industry trends.
- Exceptional and precise writing and editing skills (in English and/or Thai).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Highly creative with the ability to pitch and develop innovative beauty content ideas.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization for digital and social media platforms.
