Job summary:
We’re looking for a creative, beauty-passionate, and camera-confident Creative Content Creator to take full ownership of DAILYPAL’s short-form video content, from concept to publishing.
You’ll be responsible for developing creative ideas, understanding our beauty products, writing engaging scripts, visualizing storyboards, and bringing content to life through natural and captivating on-camera performances. Working closely with our in-house Video Editor, you’ll ensure every video is high-quality, engaging, and delivered on time.
Key Responsbilities:
- Creative Ideation & Content Strategy
- Develop fresh, creative, and trend-driven video ideas for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Stay ahead of beauty trends, viral formats, pop culture, and social media conversations.
- Understand DAILYPAL’s products, USPs, target audiences, and key marketing messages to create content that is both entertaining and effective.
- Turn product information into engaging stories, relatable situations, and compelling content angles.
- Scriptwriting & Creative Visualization
- Own the creative process from initial concept to final video.
- Write engaging scripts with strong hooks, storytelling, and persuasive copywriting.
- Translate ideas into clear video briefs, storyboards, shot lists, and visual references.
- Visualize how each video should look and feel, including camera angles, transitions, product demonstrations, and overall aesthetics.
- On-Camera Performance & Video Production
- Be the main on-camera talent for beauty videos, product reviews, tutorials, and lifestyle content.
- Deliver natural, expressive, and engaging performances that connect with viewers.
- Confidently demonstrate and explain beauty products on camera.
- Be comfortable acting, improvising, and adapting to different content styles, characters, and scenarios.
- Be proactive and ready to shoot in different locations, from the office and stores to outdoor settings and events.
- Maintain a polished, camera-ready presentation that reflects DAILYPAL’s beauty identity.
- Take ownership of filming and ensure all necessary footage is captured to achieve the creative vision.
- End-to-End Content Ownership
- Take full ownership of assigned video content, from idea development to publishing.
- Prepare complete scripts, storyboards, briefs, and footage for the in-house Video Editor.
- Communicate the creative direction clearly and work closely with the editor to achieve the intended result.
- Review edited videos and provide actionable feedback to ensure content quality.
- Ensure every video is completed, approved, and published according to the content calendar.
- Continuously improve content based on audience engagement, performance insights, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for beauty, skincare, makeup, and social media content.
- Creative thinker with a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and content trends.
- Excellent copywriting and scriptwriting skills, especially for short-form video.
- Strong ability to turn creative ideas into practical storyboards and executable video briefs.
- Confident, expressive, and natural on camera, with strong presentation and acting abilities.
- Comfortable being the face of beauty content and demonstrating products on camera.
- Strong personal grooming, makeup presentation, and an understanding of beauty aesthetics.
- Able to independently plan and execute video shoots in different environments.
- Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and accountable for deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with editors and the marketing team.
- Experience creating TikTok, Instagram Reels, or beauty-related video content is highly preferred.
A creator who can THINK, WRITE, VISUALIZE, PERFORM, and EXECUTE. Someone who doesn’t just wait for a brief but brings original ideas to the table, knows how to make beauty products desirable through storytelling, feels completely natural in front of the camera, and takes pride in delivering high-quality content from start to finish.
