Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present initial concept design, and mood boards, and assist with the preparation of program and schematic proposals, project layouts, and design options in 2D and 3D using Sketchup and AutoCAD for different types of retail store and event space.
- Assist with the preparation of construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency.
- Presents design concepts to the internal team for design reviews and approval.
- Responsible for the creation and execution of both 3D renderings and construction drawings of a store’s design or event design.
- Clearly annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings
- Conceptualizing unique, immersive yet functional spaces; designing life-like renderings to bring ideas to life.
- Problem solving, space planning, on-site technical surveying & measuring.
- Participate in meetings as and when required for specific projects.
- Maintaining a working relationship with inhouse and external vendors
- Work closely with the project team and design team on the production of drawings.
- Ensure that drawings are prepared and delivered according to the stipulated timeline.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Fresh Graduation are welcome
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in layout design and printing, particularly in the Event or Retail industry will be a plus point
- Experience with inkjet and laser printers, as well as CNC machines.
- Skills:
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, typography, and layout design.
- Technical knowledge of print production processes, including color management and material selection.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Visual Guidelines for retail and event setups.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printing and CNC equipment.
