Design Student’s Residence
Design students, whether from the Faculty of Architecture or Decorative Arts, have unique working styles and requirements that differ from other fields. They need space to accommodate large-scale projects, 24-hour access to work areas, and specialized equipment. Additionally, their work often involves group collaboration for idea exchange and sharing materials, necessitating spaces that support these needs.
Many design students rent apartments or houses to live and work together with their peers. However, standard housing options often fail to meet their requirements, such as inadequate space, lack of communal work areas, or insufficient storage for projects.
This proposed interior design project for student housing aims to address these challenges by providing a space tailored to the needs of design students. It offers areas for social interaction, collaborative workspaces that support their creative processes, and residential spaces that seamlessly integrate both living and working environments.
