As part of our strategy to strengthen Marshall’s presence in key music cities, we will strategically program Marshall Records (MR) bands during the launch event and bring awareness to our Marshall Studio as well as leverage their influence and reach into the global music community.

Job Objectives:
The Assistant Communication Manager supports the Livehouse team in creating, executing, and monitoring internal and external communication strategies. This role ensures consistent messaging across all platforms and helps maintain the organization’s reputation and stakeholder engagement. The Assistant Communication Manager also plays a key role in content creation, media relations, and handling day-to-day communication tasks, including production creations such as social media photos and video creations.

Job Descriptions:

  • KEY TASKS
    • Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
    • Assets creation, live stories, photos, videos, including all assets on social media management.
    • Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, emails, and other communication materials. Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for content development and updates.
    • Manage social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analyzing performance metrics.
    • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers to promote the organization’s initiatives.
    • Oversees all communications channels, including social media accounts.
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication campaign effectiveness. Monitor and capture all Livehouse events’ social content (photos and videos). Monitor and respond to public inquiries via email, social media, or other platforms.
    • Support event planning by coordinating communication materials and media outreach. Communicate with the global team.
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication.
    • Support crisis communication efforts by providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate translation and localization of materials for multilingual audiences, if applicable.
  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS – ESSENTIAL
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
    • Familiarity with social media management tools and content management systems.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize communication strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a creative, communication, production, public relations, or marketing role.
  • Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or media relations. Basic photography and design, including video editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar software.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Flexibility to handle urgent communication needs outside of regular office hours. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Passion for storytelling and engaging with diverse audiences.
  • This role requires on site presence during events; therefore, attendance at the event venue is mandatory. Candidates should also be comfortable working flexible hours and be able to accommodate schedules that may extend beyond regular working hours when required.
