Responsible For:
- Sketch and prepare Spec Sheets (Tech Packs) for each product
- Prepare design summary documents and hand over to Merchandiser
- Select fabrics and materials, and prepare reference files/spec files when physical samples are unavailable
- Review design accuracy on garment samples (1st Sample, Production Sample, Size Set) and participate in fittings
- Review accuracy of die-cut images and product photos
- Create product names for each collection aligned with the Collection Concept
- Define Size Guides and hand over to Creative/Marketing teams
- Prepare comprehensive product information to support Sales PC and Admin teams
- Train sales staff on product details to ensure accurate understanding and communication with customers
- Attend photo shoots to oversee garment presentation and support the Creative team
Authorities:
- Decision-Making Authority
- Prepare Spec Sheets for in-house sample development
- Review and verify factory samples against the In-house Sample
- Make decisions on own design work independently when no revisions are required (revisions require approval from Manager or Director)
- Create product names (subject to selection and approval by Director)
- Management and Execution Authority
- Prepare Comment Sheets for factory submission
- Prepare and deliver product information to the Merchandiser team
- Coordination and Consulting Authority
- Prepare detailed product information to support Sales PC and Admin teams
- Result
- Collections created reflect the Brand Identity and meet customer needs, contributing to increased sales and company profitability
- A complete design process β from Spec Sheets, Size Guides, and Comment Sheets to Sample reviews and Creative support β enables all teams to work smoothly
- Supports teamwork, reduces concentrated workloads, and fosters a positive working environment within the team
- Contributes to driving brand growth in terms of sales, brand image, and building a strong community in the long term
Qualifications:
- Working Experiences
- 1β3 years of experience in fashion design or related fields
- Experience preparing Spec Sheets / Tech Packs is a plus
- Experience working with factories or suppliers is an advantage
- Other Requirements
- Creative mindset with a passion for fashion
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams with clear communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or related fields
- Understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software
- Sufficient English proficiency for documentation and factory communication
