Job Summary:
As a Senior Retail Designer, you will drive the creative vision and strategic development of PAÑPURI’s retail environments across global markets. Beyond execution, this role is responsible for shaping innovative design concepts, storytelling narratives, and immersive customer journeys that elevate brand expression.
You will lead projects end-to-end while acting as a key bridge between design, VM, project management, marketing, and external partners. Success in this role requires balancing strong creative direction with disciplined project delivery-ensuring all retail environments are conceptually compelling, on-brand, on time, and on budget.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Retail Concept Development & Storytelling
- Lead the development of retail design concepts, seasonal narratives, and spatial storytelling aligned with PAÑPURI’s brand DNA and business strategy.
- Translate brand values into innovative in-store experiences, pop-ups, and retail formats that enhance customer engagement and differentiation.
- Develop and evolve global retail design guidelines, ensuring adaptability across markets while maintaining a strong and consistent brand identity.
- Create high-quality concept presentations, mood boards, and design storytelling materials to align internal stakeholders and external partners. Store
- Development & Project Leadership
- Oversee retail design projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence in design execution, timeline adherence, and budget control.
- Develop detailed design briefs and technical packages for architects, designers, and contractors globally.
- Act as design authority throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all outputs meet creative intent and functional requirements.
- Anticipate risks and proactively manage design and execution challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure cohesive and impactful retail execution.
- Collaborate on window displays, in-store animations, and campaign rollouts to ensure alignment between spatial design and brand communication.
- Serve as a key point of contact between global and local teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across regions.
- Facilitate design reviews and alignment workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Brand Consistency & Quality Control
- Safeguard the integrity of PANPURI’s brand identity across all retail touchpoints and markets.
- Conuct regular design reviews and site checks to ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to internal teams and external vendors to maintain high design standards.
- Continuously refine design guidelines based on project learnings and market feedback.
- Sustainable Design & Material Innovation
- Integrate sustainability into design concepts from early stages, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and environmental impact.
- Research and propose innovative, eco-conscious materials and construction methods suitable for global and local applications.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure responsible sourcing and implementation.
- Launch Management & Performance Evaluation
- Oversee store setup, styling, and installation to ensure alignment with design intent and customer journey.
- Support launch activations in collaboration with marketing and VM teams.
- Evaluate post-launch performance, including customer experience, visual impact, and operational feedback.
- Translate insights into continuous improvements for future projects.
- Trend Research & Innovation
- Monitor global trends in retail design, luxury, wellness, and experiential environments.
- Introduce new ideas, technologies, and best practices to enhance retail innovation.
- Benchmark competitors and adjacent industries to continuously elevate PAÑPURI’s retail positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in retail design/store development, preferably in luxury, beauty, or wellness industries.
- Proven ability to lead concept development and translate brand narratives into physical environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative vision and executed projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D/design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, or similar).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across regions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with VM, marketing, and operations teams.
- Solid understanding of customer journey, spatial design, and retail storytelling.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sensitivity to luxury aesthetics and brand consistency.
