Role Overview:
As a Social Media Content Creator at Social Diamond, you will be at the face of our creative engine: producing compelling, visually refined content that captures attention, builds brand identity, and drives meaningful engagement across our social media platforms.
We are looking for someone with a positive, outgoing personality, who feels comfortable appearing on camera and has a strong eye for aesthetics, lifestyle storytelling, and modern luxury content.
This role combines creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on production to bring our brand stories to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Production
- Develop and produce high-quality content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and captions for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
- Conceptualize and execute content that reflects Social Diamond’s brand identity, storytelling, and visual standards
- Appear and speak on camera to deliver educational, lifestyle, and product-focused content with authenticity and confidence
- Edit engaging videos with strong pacing, compelling hooks, and storytelling designed to drive views and engagement
- Content Strategy & Planning
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
- Brainstorm and collaborate with the marketing team to develop new content ideas and creative formats
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and viral content formats
- Community Engagement & Performance
- Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and building meaningful connections with followers
- Write compelling captions tailored to the brand’s tone of voice
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on insights and analytics
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to align content with campaigns and product priorities
- Assist with content creation during campaign shoots, launches, and showcase events
- Event & Travel Support
- Occasionally support the Sales team during Social Diamond showcase events in Singapore
- Travel to Singapore monthly to capture on-ground content and support brand activations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in content creation, social media, or a related creative role
- Experience in jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of fine jewelry is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with clear and engaging communication skills
- Comfortable and confident appearing on camera for educational or lifestyle content
- Strong storytelling ability with a sharp eye for visual aesthetics, detail, and brand presentation
- Proven video editing skills with strong understanding of pacing, trends, and engaging formats
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Experience managing content workflows and creative production processes
Additional Qualities:
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive personality with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content (portfolio link required in application)
- Willingness and ability to travel to Singapore monthly
